Zeus is a minor character in Percy Jackson and the Olympians. He is the ruler of Mount Olympus and God of Lightning and the Skies and father to Thalia Grace.
In the first season, Zeus is portrayed by the late Lance Reddick.
Personality[]
Zeus is portrayed as a firm but fair authoritative figure, wrathful and vengeful, as he threatened to kill Percy (his own nephew) when he called his uncle out on his behavior.Despite this, Zeus took pity on Thalia so he turned her into a tree so she wouldn't be tormented by the Fury Alecto in the underworld. He is also rivals with Poseidon and accused him of sending Percy to steal the Master Bolt, as gods cannot steal symbols from each other. However, Kronos is a master manipulator, incurring war between his sons and plotting Olympus' downfall. However, Zeus is not without honor, as he decides to warn the other gods of Kronos impending return rather than forbid such a thing from being discussed.
Physical appearance[]
Zeus took the form of a dark skinned man with a clean shaved head and dark brown eyes. It is said that Zeus prefers wearing black pinstripe suits and grey ties.
