Yeren is a supporting character in the animated Hulu/DreamWorks series Abominable and the Invisible City .
He is a mythical ape like creature that lives in the National Park, a home Yeren is very protective of.
Appearances [ ] Abominable and the Invisible City [ ] In "A Hair-ifying Night", Yeren leaves behind gifts for Yi, Peng, Jin, and Everest as a surprise.
He also befriended the park ranger he use to be enemies with.
In "Please Hold While We Connect", after Yi let her anger took over and unleashed magic, the Great Watcher took Yeren and the other magical creatures back to the Magic Realm. However, Yeren tells Yi that he wanted to go back to Earth. He reunites with the Park Ranger.
Personality [ ] The Yeren is known to try to welcome visitors and leave behind gifts. Some people are going to be afraid of the Yeren due to him being. He is warm and fun loving. He has an extremely close bond with the Park Ranger, wanting to connect with him over going to live with the other creatures in the magical world.
Physical Appearance [ ] The Yeren is a tall, ape-like creature with green eyes, five fingers, and a nose that is either black or grey, complemented by brown eyelids. Unlike his mythological counterpart, The Yeren can be considered adorable. He's also bipedal, walking on two legs.
Trivia [ ] In Chinese mythology, the Yeren is a cryptid apeman reported to inhabit remote, mountainous regions of China, most famously in the Shennongjia Forestry District in the Hubei Province. Gallery [ ] Navigation [ ]
