Yagoda is a supporting character on Avatar: The Last Airbender
She is the healer from the Northern Water Tribe and the woman who taught Katara how to use waterbending to heal.

In The North, Yagoda shows Katara how to heal people with waterbending. She is also the one who explains that women are not allowed to learn how to fight with waterbending in the Northern Water Tribe.
In Legends, Yagoda backs up Katara when Master Pakku refuses to let the women waterbenders fight. However Pakku changes his mind when he sees how determined they are to defend their home.
