Wojira

Wojira was the overarching antagonist of Season 14: Seabound of Ninjago.

She is a giant sea serpent who ruled the seas of Ninjago but was cruel and twisted, terrorizing the Merlopians and the surface dwellers. After being defeated by Nyad and thrown into a deep sleep, her amulets were used to bring to life the Island of Ninjago. However, thousands of years later, Kalmaar awakened her and used her to destroy the surface world, but was stopped by Nya.

History[]

Personality[]

Wojira used to terrorize the oceans of Ninjago for years, using her powers over wind and water to cause shipwreck or drowning civilizations. Because of this, Wojira was cruel and out of control and even though there were those who could control her, her enthraller would eventually lose control, proving that Wojira couldn't be ranged for long.

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Strong Swimmer: As a sea serpent, she is a very capable swimmer, although her journey to Ninjago took around twelve hours longer than Glutinous', although they began to swim from the same place.
  • Intelligence: She also seemed to have a certain intelligence, and even without Kalmaar's domination she had a desire to destroy everything.
  • Superhuman durability: She is very resistant to the torpedoes from the mini submarines, while not even noticing shots. She is also resistant to the sub car's shots, although she can already feel them.
  • Fury of the Storm: Wojira was an extremely powerful being. The source of her power, was the two amulets which she wore upon her forehead. When at full power, Wojira was able to use the Fury of the Storm, which consists of a storm surge involving her elements and water and lightning that she spewed from her mouth. Although it was described to be the combined powers of Water and Wind, it was also described to be the full power of Wave and Storm, due to the fact that both Wave and Storm have aspects of water and wind, this makes these elements somewhat similar.
    • Ocean Control: While possessing the Wave Amulet, Wojira was able to control the Endless Sea and possessed the power of Wave as a result. When at full strength, Wojira was able to flood the land.
    • Tempestakinesis: With the Storm Amulet, Wojira was able to control violent storms that would affect the Endless Sea. Unlike other users of Storm, who only used lightning, Wojira was also able to produce heavy rain and strong winds as well, this as a result let the Endless Sea rise above its normal level and gets pushed onto the shore. Because of this, Wojira obtained the power of Storm while in possession of the Storm Amulet.
