Weequays are an alien race in the Star Wars franchise. In the franchise, most Weequays were mercenaries, bodyguards and slaves to the Hutts because they controlled ther homeworld. The other half were either pirates or smugglers. The most notable among the Weequays was Hondo Ohnaka, an infamous pirate, smuggler and occasional ally of the Jedi and the Rebel Alliance. Another notable figure was Sora Bulq, the Jedi Knight of the Old Republic.
