Vortex is a ghost supervillain in the television series Danny Phantom. He was considered one of the most dangerous ghost supervillains Danny has ever faced. He has control over the weather and was considered extremely dangerous by the Ancients. He was freed by Vlad Plasmius in order to "stop" a draught in the middle of Amity Park to boost his approval ratings. However, Vortex turned on Plasmius once Vlad refused to give him his freedom.
