Victor Krane (died January 20, 2016; true canon date unknown) is the main antagonist of the Disney XD series Lab Rats. He was a former colleague of Douglas Davenport, the creator of Bionic Soldiers and the most powerful enemy of the Bionic Team that they ever faced.
He is portrayed by Graham Shiels.
Role in the Series[]
Krane serves as the main antagonist in Season 3, the tertiary antagonist of Season 4 of Lab Rats and the overall main antagonist of Lab Rats/Lab Rats: Bionic Island.
Krane first appeared when he broke into Davenport Industries and rescued Douglas from his icy prison after the latter was frozen by the Lab Rats. Before that, however, after Douglas got booted from his own brother's company, the redeemed villain met Krane and the latter funded Douglas' research in bionics, unaware that Krane kept loading himself with bionic abilities, changing his facial appearance as a wire was showing outside one of the sides of his face.
The first plan of Krane's plan was to destroy the Lab Rats after Douglas and Krane failed in killing Donald, Tasha and Leo when the villains were controlling the bionic teenagers with the Triton App. His most villainous acts include almost killing Douglas, fatally injuring Donald, almost successfully taking over the world with his now-former bionic army and planning a genocide on Earth to create a new bionic civilization; the latter in which it would have killed every other human being on the planet.
After so many failed attempts at making sure Adam, Bree, and Chase did not interfere with his plans, he got into an escape pod from the now-destroyed Davenportia space colony and started shooting at the primary ship the Lab Rats and colonists were in. Before he could finally destroy the bionic teenagers, Chase launched a torpedo at Krane's ship. Krane screamed in terror before finally being killed off for good. Krane's presence in the series was one of the darkest parts of the Lab Rats' life, as he tried killing them continuously, more than Marcus, Giselle, and the Shapeshifter family. It turns out that Krane did not die during the Battle of Pike's Crest: after Adam, Chase and Bree blasted him from across the sky, he survived and sustained severe injuries, but was found by scientist Dr. Gao. Gao saved his life and made a mask for Krane so it would make it easier for him to breathe. In exchange, Krane paid Gao with Douglas' bionic research, who created liquid Bionics. Afterwards, the two planned to take over the earth yet again when they heard that Donald Davenport was building a colony, Davenportia in another galaxy. Krane disguised himself as a colonist and snuck onto Davenport's ship while biding his time to turn the colonists into his new Bionic Soldiers after losing the kids he created, and awaited the Davenport family's arrival to the colony.
Evil Acts[]
- Got bionics from Douglas; later broke him out of the ice prison that Chase trapped him in Avalanche with Donald's Cyroblast.
- Electrocuted and knocked out Bree, Chase and Adam so Douglas could reactivate their Triton App despite Donald removing it.
- Sent a Triton-App controlled Adam, Bree and Chase after their brother Leo, and their parents Donald and Tasha. Took the Triton App device from Douglas and amplified Adam's Heat Vision Ability when he was fighting off Chase.
- Told Douglas to destroy Adam, Bree and Chase.
- Learned everything he could from Douglas' Triton App and perfected it so he could control it via his brain and to non-bionic people.
- Used Douglas' research to create the Bionic Soldiers behind his back and trained them to be his henchmen/henchwomen.
- Did unethical experiments on Taylor and her siblings, installing a doomsday virus that would self-destruct.
- Kidnapped and tortured Leo and Tasha and placed them in a gigantic metal box that would have burned them alive.
- Attempted to kill the Lab Rats and Douglas which included violently throwing Bree up against the wall in the lab and tried taking them out with his pyrokinesis ability. Later tried to kill Douglas a second time but his life was saved by Chase's.
- Revealed Adam, Bree and Chase's bionics to the world so they would get out of his way for plans of world domination. This led them to being captured but Leo and Douglas escaped.
- Electrocuted and tried to kill Douglas and Perry.
Controlled Taylor (S-1) from his brain against her will and made her crush a ceiling beam on Leo's arm, causing permanent damage to his arm and leading to him getting bionics from Douglas.
- He tried to kill Leo, the Lab Rats, Douglas and Donald by tracking Leo and Douglas down at his old warehouse and he and S-1 tried to take them down.
- Choked Donald and threw Chase and Adam on top of each other and nearly killed them before Leo shot a laser sphere and knocked him out cold.
- Tried to take control of the world by breaking into the Pentagon and stealing equipment that will let a signal go out to everyone in the world and become the most powerful man in the world.
- Critically injured Donald, who would have died from his wounds had Leo not used Energy Transference to save his life.
- Attempted to kill Adam, Bree and Chase who ultimately defeated him.
- In case he failed he installed a virus in all that had the Triton App if when he no longer had control over them that would eventually kill them so his soldiers couldn't be used by anyone else.
- Launched a missile that almost wiped out all life on earth so he could rebuild it as a Bionic civilization
- When that failed he attempted to kill all the bionic humans as an act of spite.
