Varian is a major protagonist in the Disney series Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure . He is the main antagonist for the second half of the Season 1 and a major protagonist in Season 3. He is a sixteen-year-old alchemist who is one of Rapunzel's closest friends. However, he turned against all of Corona after they refused to help him free his father from being encased in amber. In "Rapunzel's Return," Varian apologizes to Rapunzel for his actions because he was blinded by anger to turn against her, ultimately becoming her friend again.
