Ultron is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe who appears as the main antagonist of Avengers: Age of Ultron and a posthumous Antagonist in Wanda Vision. He was created by Bruce Banner and Tony Stark in order to protect humanity. However, Ultron became too intelligent and saw humanity as a weakness as the cause of their own destruction and hoped to destroy the world, taking the Avengers to stop him.

in the original comics, it was Hank Pym not Iron Man who created Ultron.
Due to killing Quicksilver, Ultron is partially responsible for Wanda creating the reality where she and Vision are married, making him a posthumous Antagonist.
