Tulip Jones is the tritagonist of the Alex Rider TV series, which is based on the books of the same name. She is Alan Blunt's second-in-command and Alex's handler. She is also reluctant to recruit a child into spy games, unlike her employer. In Season 2, she is one of the few people who starts to believe Alex's suspicions.
In the past she also helped John Rider fake his own death so he could escape Scorpia. She also handled Alex's mother, Helen. She still feels guilt for her failure to protect John and his wife Helen, so therefore, keeps it secret from Alex in an attempt to protect him.

Trivia[]
- Its confirmed in the episode Target that Jones has two children, as there are pictures of her with her children in her mantle when Alex invades her apartment. These children are Sophia and William and partially explains her fondness for Alex.
- Several hints of foreshadowing that Tulip has some connection with Alex Rider's father John.
- In the first episode, Jones mutters (in sympathy) "First his parents. Now his uncle."
- In later episodes, Jones acts as a maternal figure of sorts to Alex, such as scolding him for prioritizing a date over his mission, refusing to let him take part in the operation to save the other children.
- She actively feels remorseful for the way they keep on lying to Alex, foreshadowing she knows something about ALex's past. This is later revealed to be the fact she and Blunt have not told him the true circumstances of his parents' deaths.
- She showed Alex a picture of a young Yassen and an unnamed figure (whose face was pixelated). She later confirmed that she knew Yassen recognized Alex because he looked like his father.
- Tulip also reveals to Alex that she knew his mother, Helen Beckett and that her and John's deaths still haunt her because she was supposed to protect them.
- Unlike the novel, Tulip forms a somewhat maternal bond with Alex right away when its gradual in the book series.
