The Sultan is a major character in 2019 Remake of the 1992 film, Aladdin. He is Jasmine's fatherand the former Sultan of Agrabah.
He has been protective of his daughter since the mysterious death of his wife, Jasmine's mother and is being manipulated by his vizier (advisor), Jafar.
