The Queen (voiced by the late Phyllis Diller) is a character in A Bug's Life. She is the queen of Ant Island until the end of the film, where the Queen steps down and passes the title to Atta.

The Queen is a very kind, caring individual with a good sense of humor. While her daughter Atta gets very stressed about becoming queen and is concerned with every detail, the Queen is more relaxed and can make a joke out of situations that aren't super serious. She is also nicer to Flik than most of the colony, just like her younger daughter Dot. However, when she discovers Flik's deception, she was disappointed in him for choosing to lie to the colony rather than be honest and stops Dot from going after him after Atta exiles him. However, like Atta, she regrets it when the grasshoppers take over the colony. She later forgives Flik and shows gratitude towards him after he saves her from being executed by Hopper and having the courage to stand up to Hopper and his grasshoppers, thus saving the entire colony from Hopper's reign of terror.
