The Echidna (Legend of the Guardians)

The Echidna is a minor character in the film and original to the film's adaptation, voiced by Barry Otto.

History[]

The Echidna once heard of how a band would come to his shores.

Years later, he had his crows kidnap Mrs. P (who was riding in Twilight's lute) to lead them to the band. He later told them of their destinies and helps guide them to the Guardians' trees.

He is later seen yelling, "I foretold you so!" in the sky to the Guardians returning from the Battle of St. Aegolius.

Personality[]

The Echidna was wise and had a sense of humor.

He is shown to not like doubters, such as calling Gylfie a doubter and also a navigator at the same time. He also knows the band's destinies, such as calling Twilight the warrior, Soren "the leader", Gylfie the "navigator" and is unsure of whether Mrs. P was the heart or not.
