Tarrant Hightopp, also known as Mad Hatter or Hatter, is the deuteragonist of the 2010 adaptation of Alice in Wonderland and the tritagonist of the 2016 sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass. He is one of Alice's allies and her closest friend who is known form being a famous hat designer and his dangerous temper. However, the Hatter is usually stopped by his tirades whenever Alice or any of his friends shout his nickname.
He lost his family many years ago and disappeared out of the blue but in reality were shrunken down and captured by the Red Queen.
