Talia al Ghul is a recurring villain in the DC Universe, mainly the Batman comics. She is th daughter of Ra's al Ghul, the former lover turned archenemy of Batman (Bruce Wayne) and the mother of Damian Wayne , who became the fifth Robin. She is an antagonist in the video games and the movie The Dark Knight Rises . She was also the main antagonist of the Batman Inc series, and has appeared as an antagonist in the DC Animated Film Universe .
Talia Al Ghul was created by the late Dennis O'Neil and Neal Adams, and first appeared in Detective Comics #411 in May of 1971.
