Tailgate is a supporting character in Transformers: Prime. In the past, he was the first partner and best friend of Arcee. however, Tailgate was killed by Airachnid, setting Arcee on the path to vengeance and apprehending the Decepticons.

History

Tailgate was a member of the Delta Team, alongside his best friend and partner, Arcee. However, he was captured by the Decepticons and tortured by Airachnid, who later killed him. Arcee was filled with grief and vengeance, and the vendetta between Arcee and Airachnid began.
