Taichi "Tai" Kamiya is one of the main protagonists of the 2020 reboot of Digimon Adventure. He is based in the character of the same name from the original series.

He is one of the eight DigiDestined who fight against evil Digimon and try to save the Digital World and the Digimon.

He is voiced by Yuko Sanpei and dubbed by Zeno Robinson, who also voiced Cyborg/Victor Stone in Young Justice, Hawks in My Hero Academia (for which he won Best VA Performance (EN) at the 2021 Anime Awards), Goh in Pokémon Journeys: The Series, Sethos in Genshin Impact, Remy Remington in Big City Greens, and Hunter/Golden Guard in The Owl House

Early History[]

Taichi Kamiya was born in Japan to Yuuko and Susumu Kamiya. He has a sister named Hikari, nicknamed Kari.

Tai is a fearless boy who loves his family dearly and seeks to protect them at all costs.

Physical Appearance[]

Tai is a young boy with brown eyes and spiky brown hair. He wears a blue headband, which leaves a tuft of hair out, gray-framed goggles with a black strap, and a blue shirt with short sleeves, a yellow line on the collar and chest, an orange star on each sleeve, and a pocket on the stomach. He also wears white gloves, orange knee-length shorts with a pocket on each side, white socks with a single horizontal orange stripe, and blue sneakers. The sneakers have white soles and laces, red stars on the sides, and yellow marks on the soles.
