The Superman Family is the main heroic faction in the Superman comics published by DC. Similar to the Batman family the Superman family consists of the titular character and his closest family and allies. They usually protect Metropolis and the Earth from otherworldly threats mostly concerning aliens. Because of Bruce and Clark's relationship, they are close allies with the Batman family, the Justice League and the Legion of Super-Heroes.
