Kal- El, adopted as Clark Kent, better known as Superman , is the last son of Krypton and one of the main protagonists of the DC Animated Universe. He is the protector of Metropolis and a member of the Justice League, as well as the adoptive cousin of Kara Kent/Supergirl. He is the main protagonist from the animated TV series Superman: The Animated Series , and the deuteragonist of Justice League and Justice League: Unlimited and a minor protagonist in Batman Beyond .
