The Superfriends, a name coined by Winn Schott, are a group of vigilantes and the main heroic faction in the Arrowverse television series Supergirl. The team is led by Kara Danvers and they work together to fight crime and protect the world from dangerous threats whether they be human, mystical, extra-terrestrial or other threats.
They are an allusion to the Superman Family from DC Comics.
