Superboy (real name Kon-El in Kryptonian and Conner Kent on Earth) is a major character in the DC Animated Movie Universe, serving as a minor character in The Death of Superman and Justice League Dark: Apokalips War , the titular tritagonist of Reign of the Supermen .
He is a genetically engineered clone of Superman who was created through illegal experiments made orders of Lex Luthor to be a "replacement" for his genetic template. However, Conner turned against his creators and became a vigilante joining the Superman Family. He was later adopted by Martha and Jonathan Kent, becoming Clark's adoptive brother.
