Squirrel Girl (Doreen Green) is the deuteragonist of the Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors film. She is a member of the Secret Ways and the best friend of Kamala Khan.
Since birth, Doreen has the powers and abilities of a squirrel, having been born with squirrel tail and claws. At ten years old, she learned that she could communicate with squirrels and had Superhuman abilities. Squirrel Girl and Ms. Marvel became best friends because Kamala was the only person who never made fun of Doreen. They were both working as solo superheroes of their own after a mission with Ghost-Spider. She also has a mutual crush on her teammate Rayshaun Lucas.
