Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man and also called Peter-Three, is the main protagonist of The Amazing Spider-Man duology and a supporting protagonist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: No Way Home. After being bitten by a radioactive spider and gaining super powers, Peter has become a superhero known as Spider-Man. After losing his uncle and failing to save his girlfriend Gwen Stacy, Peter has been fighting crime in their names.

History

Background

Peter Benjamin Parker was born to Mary and Richard Parker, famed scientist. When he was at least four years old, Peter was left in the care of his father's brother, Uncle Ben, and sister-in-law, May Parker. However, Peter became an orphan when his parents died in a plane crash. Ben and May later adopted Peter and raised him as if he were their own son.

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Spider-Man: No Way Home

He is later transferred to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after a spell by that world's Doctor Strange went wrong to making people forget their world's Peter Parker was Spider-Man. Teaming up with his alternate counterparts, he is nicknamed the Amazing Spider-Man and also called Peter-Three, to avoid confusion with the other Peters.
