Sozin, also known as Fire Lord Sozin, is the overarching antagonist of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Despite having died years before, his actions caused almost all of the events of the series and many of its sequel The Legend of Korra.
He is the instigator of the Hundred-Year War and the Fire Lord before his son, Azulon. He is the grandfather of Iroh and Ozai, great-grandfather of Zuko, Azula, and Lu Ten and the great-great-grandfather of Zuko's daughter, Izumi.
