She is tasked by her mother, Bavmorda to retrieve Elora Danan in order to banish her soul to oblivion. Background[]
Personality[]
Initially, Sorsha was mean-spirited but this was due to being alone and having no friends in the world. She was also very headstrong, even not needing General Kael's help when Sorsha could not find baby Elora. She was mostly raised underneath her mother's expectations. Sorsha was also quite rude, especially when facing Madmartigan and Willow Ufgood in these situations. However, it was proven that Sorsha did not possess some of her mother's mannerisms. She truly was her father's daughter, as Sorsha had inherited not only her father's red hair but his compassionate heart and good nature. She showed this after she abandoned all of her mother's previous teachings and thoughts.
During the final battle, Sorsha refused to allow her mother to kill Elora when she and Raziel confronted Bavmorda. She was cold towards Willow, even calling him "peck" (the insulting name towards Nelwyns). However, Sorsha no longer considered him different and treated him like an equal, even helping Willow Madmartigan and their allies rescue Elora from Nockmaar Castle. Initially, Sorsha had hated the thought of being a mother, especially when she was there every night helping women give birth to their children and inspecting them. However, at the end of the film, Sorsha appears to finally decide to be a mother, taking responsibilty to being Elora's foster mother and Madmartigan as her foster father. Additionally, despite everything, Sorsha and Madmartigan became the parents of two children, Airk, who the named after Madmartigan's late best friend, and Kit. Despite Elora, now Dove, being unaware of her identity as the future empress of Tir Asleen, not being her biological child, Sorsha cared for her like a mother. She hid Elora away and so she could remain oblivious to her identity. She disagreed with Willow's suggestion he should have started teaching Elora magic and wanted her to have a normal childhood.
At least twenty years after the film, Sorsha grew to fear magic and the dark forces of evil beyond the veil. This was due to her bad experiences with her mother's dark magic and the fact she used to hunt Elora herself. Apart from the veil created by Raziel and Cherlindrea, she refused to let magic be the solution. Sorsha chose more tactical ones to keep the peace, such as uniting two families between her daughter Kit and Prince Graydon and refusing to let Willow train her adopted daughter magic. She sent her daughter and her rescue party to seek his help in saving her son. However, she most likely felt remorseful for her last encounter with Willow, recommending they go to him for help. Her children both share different traits: while her daughter adapted her mother's high spirit, her son became a woman's man like Madmartigan.
Physical Appearance[]
Sorsha is a young woman who is eighteen years old, according to the film's adaptation. She has red hair that she inherited from her father and has brown eyes. Sorsha is also very beautiful inside and out, fair skin, and at least five foot two.

Bent from her mother's will since birth, Sorsha couldn't be her own person until she fell in love with Madmartigan, a fallen Knight of Galladoorn. She betrays her mother and joins the heroes in the conflict against her. During the Battle of Nockmaar Castle, Sorsha led Raziel and Willow to where her mother would perform the ritual. However, they left Willow out in the hallway after seeing his fear. Sorsha tries to stop Bavmorda from harming Elora. However, the queen overpowered her daughter, nearly pushing Sorsha against spikes getting from the wall. Raziel intervenes and saves Sorsha, who passese out from exhaustion. After seeing his female companions had fallen, Willow tricked Bavmorda so her spell would backfire and banished her own soul to the Netherworld.
At the end if the film, Sorsha married Madmartigan and they became guardians of Elora, being the King and Queen Cherlindrea mentioned.
Willow (2022)[]
Sometime after the film, Sorsha and Madmartigan had two children: Kit and Airk, who they named after Airk Thaughbaer. Shortly after Willow returned home, he recieved a vision that a great evil would return to destroy Elora Danan once and for all. If that was the case, it would usher in a new Dark Age era. With a heavy heart, Sorsha was forced to hide her foster daughter, that not even Elora herself could know. Sometime after this, Madmartigan mysteriously disappeared, never to return.
