Sodapop Curtis is one of the main protagonists of the 1967 novel The Outsiders written by S.E. Hinton. In the story, Sodapop is the middle child who acts as the peacekeeper and the "middle man" between his brothers, Ponyboy and Darry. Sodapop dropped out of school, and works at the local gas station. His girlfriend Sandy cheated on him and became pregnant with another man's baby. She broke up with Soda and moved to Florida to live with her grandmother.
In the film adaptation, he is portrayed by Rob Lowe.
