Smurfette (French: La Schtroumpfette) is the main protagonist of The Smurfs. Smurfette was created by the evil wizard Gargamel, archenemy of the Smurfs, to spy on them and sow jealousy. However, she decides to be a real Smurf and, as a sign of her transformation, Papa Smurf casts a spell that turns her hair from black to blonde.
She and the other Smurfs are often captured by Gargamel, assisted by his evil cat Azrael, and his apprentice Scruple.
Upon her creation, Smurfette was beautiful even after the fact; Even though she was sent to distract the Smurfs Smurfette ultimately realized she wanted to be a real one after getting to know them. Upon her transformation into a real Smurf, her black hair turned blonde.
She wears a white hat,s dress and high heels. She’s curious, brave, and enterprising, always ready to take part in new adventures.
