Smallville High School is the local high school in Smallville and the main location of the television series of the same name from seasons 1 to 4. It later appears in the season 10 episode "Homecoming."
It is the school where Clark Kent, Lana Lang and Chloe Sullivan were all students in the class of 2005. Chloe and Clark's best friend, Pete Ross, was a student at the school before moving with his mother in a new city, meaning he didn't finish his senior year at this school.
During season 1 Lana's boyfriend Whitney Fordman was a student at the school before graduating and joining the Marine Corps

- The school paper is called the Torch. Lionel Luthor provided new computers to the school when Chloe Sullivan agreed to spy on Clark Kent, thus improving the Torch's newspaper. He took them back when Chloe refused to betray Clark later. However, Lex let the school have the computers back, no strings attached.
- The school's colors, are red and yellow, which is a references to two of three colors associated with Superman
- Their football team is called the Smallville Crows. Lex Luthor provided the school with new jersey uniforms in attempt to buy back Clark's friendship during his and and Chloe's senior year of high school.
