Cynthia "Cindy" Burman is a major antagonist-turned-anti-hero in the CW and DC Universe series, Stargirl. She serves as the secondary antagonist of Season 1, the central antagonist of Season 2, and a major anti-hero in Season 3.
She is one of the most popular girls at Blue Valley High School, and immediately forms of rivalry with Courtney Whitmore and has uprooted hatred for Yolanda Montez. However because of her mean girl attitude, Cindy is one of the most hated students on campus.
As a child, her powers manifested and she accidentally killed her mother. Since then, Cindy has become cold and ruthless. In her household, Cindy treats her stepmother like a servant and has taken her last name. As she struggles through her inner darkness, Cindy finally becomes a hero and by 2031 is a fully committed member of the Young All-Stars and the Justice Society of America.
