Maudra Seethi, also known as The Skin Painter is a recurring character in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. She is a leader of the Dousan Clan and voiced by Kemi-Bo Jacobs.
Personality[]
Seethi is a benevolent Maudra of the Dousan Clan. Initially she appeared afraid to stand up for herself, evident that she did not stand up to Seladon mostly due to fear. Seethi appears to be traditional, as she and the other Maudras disagreed with how Seladon handled her conflict with Fara and reject their tradition for what it had been for 639 trine and is a peacemaker.
However, she decided to stand up against the Skeksis after hearing Rian's speech through the Stone-in-the-Wood crucible and later celebrated with the other Gelfling for their successful fight against the Skeksis.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance[]
Seethi was the Maudra of the Dousan Clan, a group of Gelfling who lived in the Crystal Desert and took life and death very seriously. After the death of All-Maudra Mayrin, she responded to a windsifter sent by Seladon, who was to succeed her mother. When Seethi stood up against Seladon and proclaimed this was not the Gelfling's way of life, but Seladon replied that it was now. . Terrified, Seethi reluctantly accepted Seladon as the All-Maudra. Afterward, Seethi returned to the Crystal Desert.
She and her clan later aided Rian and his crew of Gelfling during the battle of the Stone in the Wood, where she and her fellow Gelfling were defended by Deet, who used her new powers against the Skeksis.
