The Secret Ninja Force are the main protagonists of the 2017 animated film, The LEGO Ninjago Movie.
They are a group of ninjas who protect Ninjago City from dangerous threats such as Lord Garmadon and his Shark army.

At some point before the effects of the film, Master Wu recruited his nephew Lloyd Garmadon and his friends to become elemental Masters and Ninjas needed to protect the city from Lord Garmadon's forces. The ninjas protected the city and became heroes in Ninjago's eyes. They each knew their secret identities within their circle. Despite Lloyd's reputation being tarnished as Garmadon's son, only Jay, Nya, Cole, Kai and Zane didn't let that bother them.
