The Saxons are the central antagonistic faction in Series 5, the fifth and final season of the BBC series Merlin. They were against Camelot's and most became loyal to Morgana Pendragon in the three years since her second dethronement.
Saxons included both men, the Saxon army, and women, including Kara who was referred to as a Saxon (The Drawing of the Dark). Eira was another female member of the Saxpms.

Morgana formed an army of Saxons in her campaign against her half-brother, Arthur and his kingdom, Camelot. She took up residence inn the fortress of Ismere with her army in search of the Daimere, who could reveal her brother's weakness.
Saxons abducted several innocent men and sent them to the fortress to search for the "key of all knowledge."
