Lady Sansa Stark, also known as Queen Sansa I Stark in the TV series, briefly known as Alayne Stone, is one of the main protagonists of the A Song of Ice and Fire novel series as well as it's HBO TV adaptation Game of Thrones. She is the eldest daughter in second-born child of Eddard "Ned" Stark and Catelyn Tully, the younger sister of the late Robb Stark, the older sister of Arya Stark, Bran Stark and the late Rickon Stark and the half-sister/maternal cousin (in the TV series) of Jon Snow. She is also the wife of Tyrion Lannister (who she is still married to officially in the novels) and in the TV series, the ex-wife, Ramsay Bolton and the cousin of Robin Arryn.

At the beginning of the series, she is thirteen years old Who believes in charming princes and fairy tales coming true. Unfortunately, Sansa is awaken to the harsh reality of the world beyond Winterfell , eventually becoming well versed in politicsIn the books, Sansa has become one of the most prominent characters in the franchise, alongside Tyrion Lannister, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen.

At the end of TV series, she becomes the queen of the North. While Jon returned to the Night Watch, her sister Arya left to explore the West beyond Westeros.

  • Sansa is One of the few people to know Jon Snow's true parentage alongside Tyrion Lannister, Jon Snow, Arya Stark, Samwell Tarly, and Daenerys Targaryen
  • In the fifth and sixth seasons, Sansa takes over Jeyne Poole's role as being the one married to Ramsay Bolton and later escaping with Theon Greyjoy, who somewhat redeemed himself with this act.
