Samuel Lane (DC)

Samuel Lane is a minor antagonist in DC Comics. He is the father of Lois and Lucy Lane. Sam despises all vigilantes, especially vigilant who were aliens like Superman. However, he is a great military leader. Lois son, Jonathan Samuel "Jon" Kent was named in honor of him and Clark's adoptive father Jonathan Kent.

He debuted in Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane #13 (November, 1959).
