In a world where Superman turned evil and killed his daughter, Lois, Sam was the general of an army that also consisted of his son-in-law, John Henry Irons. He also had a granddaughter through Lois and John Henry, named Natalie. In his final battle, he led an assault against Superman when he turned. However, Sam's Earth-TUD22 counterpart was killed by Kal-El in front of John Henry. As he laid dying, Sam gave John Henry hsi dogtag
