Samantha "Sam" LaRusso is one of the three deuteragonists (alongside Miguel Diaz and Robby Keene) of the YouTube Red/Netflix series Cobra Kai.

She is the daughter of Daniel LaRusso and the (former( arch-enemy of Tory Nichols after seeing her kiss Miguel. however, the girls later made amends in the fifth season. She is the love interest of Miguel Diaz and ex-girlfriend of Robby Keene.

She is portrayed by Mary Mouser.

Acts of Heroism and Antagonism

Questionable acts

Despite Sam being a mostly good person who displays her kindness and compassion to others, there have been times (especially in Season 4) where she shows her more antagonistic side.

• Instigating Tory at her job, which was cosplaying as Ariel (from The Little Mermaid) at a party place for a kid's birthday.
• Sam was then horrified to discover Tory in her house once again when the latter came in need of help because Tory's aunt stated she would have custody of Brandon (Tory's little brother) because Tory was a high school dropout and criminal, and Tory wanted to go back to high school to prevent this. When Tory returned to school, she attempted to approach Sam and possibly thank her for her parents allowing her to return to school, but Sam (having not forgiven Tory or bought her story) threatens her and threatens to "kick her ass for a 3rd time". Before turning away, Sam repeats the same line to Tory that Tory herself used before the school fight in Season 2: "I'm coming for you, bitch."
