Sailor Moon (real name is Usagi Tsukino) is the titular main protagonist of the franchise of the same name. She is initially a carefree young woman and often inactive teenager who hates school until she meets a black cat named Luna. She learns that she was Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom from a previous life and that she can transform into Sailor Moon, the self-proclaimed Guardian of Love and Justice, using her powers to protect the universe from other worldly threats.
Personality[]
In the initial anime, Usagi exhibited a certain level of self-centeredness and a tendency to overreact, earning her the reputation of being a drama queen. Additionally, she displayed a lack of motivation and a disdain for school. Furthermore, her culinary skills left much to be desired, as evidenced by numerous instances throughout the series. Moreover, she harbored feelings of jealousy towards Mamoru, as depicted in episode 136.
When it comes to food, she prefers to eat sweets and even she despises carrots, she holds one to see if it is not corrupted or darkened. Nevertheless, despite her flighty and immature demeanor, Usagi demonstrated a profound concern for the well-being of her loved ones. She possessed a remarkable level of trust and held the belief that everyone possessed inherent goodness, which could be viewed as both a strength and a weakness of her character.
Usagi adamantly opposed the notion of harming innocent humans, even when they had been transformed into ferocious monsters, always seeking alternative methods to restore their humanity.
Throughout the progression of the series, Usagi underwent significant personal growth, evolving into a capable young woman. Although she occasionally exhibited traces of childish behavior and moments of frivolity, she displayed a newfound maturity.
Physical appearance[]
Usagi has blue eyes and long blonde hair that she wears in odango. She has porcelain skin and a slim figure. She is the shortest of the original five Senshi. She is 14 at the beginning of the series who is.
Sometimes when she wears casual outfits, her bunned pigtails can be decorated with different colors of bows.
