Sadie Kane is one of the two narrators and main protagonists of The Kane Chronicles . She re-appeared as one of the four main protagonists of Demigods and Magicians, the crossover between Percy Jackson and The Kane Chronicles. She becomes one of the strongest magicians in the world along with her brother Carter and her uncle Amos, although she outranks them because she can speak the most number of Divine Words. Sadie is currently in a relationship with Walt Stone and Anubis.
Background[]
Sadie Kane is the only daughter and second and youngest child of Julius and Ruby Kane and the younger sister of Carter Kane. They are descendants of the ancient pharoahs, Narmer (through their paternal relatives, the Kanes) and Ramesses II (through their maternal relatives, the Fausts).
Sadie and Carter's magic once got out of hand before they knew of magic's existence. They fought so hard that Sadie's birthday cake on her sixth birthday party broke apart. After their mother's death, Sadie's grandparents, the Fausts, fought for custody over her. Carter and Julius travelled the world together, but Carter was home-schooled and only got to see his sister twice a year.
The House of Life may have manipulated this outcome to keep Sadie and Carter separate. Sadie eventually lost her American accent and gained an English one. She would often go to the library and read books from her father to get to know him.
