Runar is a supporting character in the film Ice Age. He is a Neanderthal and the leader of the Neanderthal tribe, Nadia's husband and Roshan's father. He hunted some of the saber-tooth tigers prior to the film for survival. He tries looking for his infant son as three unlikely band of animals try returning Roshan to his family.
