Rumplestiltskin (also known as Weaver and Mr. Gold) is the central antagonist of ABC's Once Upon a Time and a main character in the series. After centries of fighting the good vs the evil, Rumplestiltskin conquered to the good side through the love of his family by killing the Black Fairy. His younger self is portrayed by Wyatt Oleff.
Dark One - Ability to use the powers of Darkness acquired with the Dark One Dagger.
Blood Magic - Use of one's own or another's blood for various and more advanced spells that can only be broken by someone of the same bloodline.
Protection Spells - Ability to cast a magical seal that can only be broken by someone of the same bloodline.

Dark One Dagger: Whoever holds the Dark One’s dagger, Rumpelstiltskin is forced to follow his captor’s every command, especially if it is against his will.
Excalibur: As the Dark One’s dagger was once the tip of Excalibur, Rumplestiltskin could be killed by Excalibur. According to Merlin, an injury that comes from Excalibur cannot be healed with magic, as the sword is meant to sever ties to immortality.
Land Without Magic: if taken to a land without magic, Rumplestiltskin will become human again, meaning he would be vulnerable to disease and aging.
Self-Sacrifice: If Rumplestiltskin were to sacrifice his heart, he would destroy the Darkness but would end up dying in the process. When Rumplestiltskin ripped out his own heart and gave it to a dying Detective Rodgers (Wish Realm Hook)
Dreamshade Poisoning: Dreamshade is a deadly poison that grows up in spring of Neverland. Mr. Gold describes it as "incurable poison" and says that there is no antidote in this world. Even if he returns to a place with magic, the poison will still be intact and kill him unless they find a way to cheat death, like with the help of the enchanted candle. However, Mr. Gold later finds a permanent cure that can end its deadly effects.

Unlike the fairytale, Rumple's name is spelled Rumplestiltskin rather than Rumpelstiltskin.
His first counterpart Gold is a reference to Rumplestiltskin who spun straw into gold. His second counterpart, Weaver, is a reference to him weaving as Rumplestiltskin.
