Ruffnut Thorston is a major character in Universal Pictures' 2025 live-action adaptation of DreamWorks' How to Train Your Dragon. She is Tuffnut's twin sister and a member of the Hairy Hooligan Tribe.
She is portrayed by Bronwyn James, who also played Fanny Beardsley in Outlander and ShenShen in Wicked.

- Like Tuffnut, Ruffnut has red hair not blonde.
- She and Astrid are the only members of the Dragon Riders who were originally from the movie not the book as Snotlout, Tuffnut, Hiccup, and Fishlegs came from both the book and the film.
