Roy Harper (formerly known as Speedy and Arsenal) is a character in the DC Comic, a major character in the Green Arrow comics. He is the adoptive son of Oliver Queen and Dinah Lance, the adoptive brother of Mia Dearden and Sin Lance as well as one of the founding members of the Teen Titans, the best friend of Jason Todd and a close friend of Dick Grayson/Nightwing, Wally West/Kid Flash, Koriand'r/Starfire, and Garth/Aqualad, and the love interest of Donna Troy and Kendra Saunders. He is known as the Red Arrow, symbolizing himself as Green Arrow's equal. He is now known as the vigilante Arsenal.
In the original comics, he was one of the founding members of the Teen Titans and later, went on to become a great hero and one of the greatest archers of his generation.
