Ronal is a major protagonist in the 2022 film Avatar: The Way of Water. She is the Tsahìk of the Metkayina clan and mate of Tonowari. With her husband, she is the mother of the free-divers, Tsireya, Ao'nung, and an unborn child. Being the mate of the Clan Leader, she is the second in command of the Metkayina Clan, she oversees the healing of her people. During the events of Avatar 2, Ronal is heavily pregnant.
She is voiced and portrayed by (via motion capture) Kate Winslet, best known for portraying Rose DeWitt Bukater from the 1997 highly acclaimed film Titanic.
