Ron Witwicky is the father of Sam Witwicky , the husband of Judy Witwicky and a supporting character in the first trilogy of the Transformers film series. He buys a yellow Camaro for Sam, while in reality it is the Cybertron warrior, Bumblebee and a discovery of a Civil War between two alien factions: The Autobots and the Decepticons.
He is portrayed by Kevin Dunn
History [ ] According to several sources, Ron is the son of Clarice and Herbert and has five siblings: Ben, Stan, at least one sister and two unnamed brothers. Sam mentions an 'Uncle Charles' in the first film during his confession video after discovering Bumblebee was an Autobot. This is possibly one of the names of Ron's brother. Ron's great-grandfather was the legendary explorer, Archibald Witwicky.
At some point, as the oldest son, Ron inherited his great-grandfather's glasses. He later married Judith Taylorand the couple had a son, Samuel James in 1991 sometime after his brother Stan had his son Butch"Spike" Witwicky.
Transformers [ ] Eventually, Ron and Judy are released from prison and told of the Autobots and Decepticons' existence, Most likely by Sam so he can explain why he has a new Camaro in comparison to the old one. In the mid-credits scene, Ron and in an interview with a reporter, who questions them about the existence of aliens. However, the couple nervously denies it
Personality [ ] Ron is good-natured man who is very protective of his lawn, his work around it, and his wife and son. In fact, fifty percent of Ron's conversations with Sam usually end in friendly but witty bantering. However, his wife Judy disapproves her son driving a beat up 1977 Camaro, calling her husband "cheap."
