Rogue

Rogue was a young mutant who was adopted by Raven Darkholme, the reformed supervillainess Mystique after her failure in matter their hood with her son Nightcrawler. Her mutant Power, were dangerous, however, as she feared touching someone and accidentally hurting people, absorbing their essence and at times, their Power. She became a supervillain under the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. However, after finding she could not handle the mentality of Carol Danvers, Rogue returned the woman's Power and decided she no longer worked for the Brotherhood and defected to the X-Men, somewhat turning against her adoptive mother. Under the X-Men's supervision she developed a father-daughter relationship with James Howlett/Logan/Wolverine, who cared for her as if she were his own. Despite not being related, Kurt and Anna Marie developed a sibling bond because they were both children of Mystique even though Rogue was adopted.
