Rodney is a minor antagonist in Season 3 of Cobra Kai. He is Tory Nichols's slimy landlord. His apartment complex is in constant need of repairs and filthy.
History[]
Reason: it is need of expansion.
Rodney can be described as a slumlord who constantly is threatening to have her and her family evicted from their apartment if she doesn't get her rent on time. Rodney makes unwanted sexual advances on Tory as well, choosing to give her time if she sleeps with him, much to her and the audience's disgust. It is implied that it is not the first time he's done something like that but Tory managed to evade those previous attempts. He also likes to emphasize that Tori can't do any violence to him or take any legal action against him because Rodney can still call her probation officer if she gets out of line. Rodney shows no sympathy towards Tory or her mother's current health situation.
When Tory's sensei, John Kreese heard about her situation, he corners Rodney and threatens him with a world of pain if he doesn't leave Tory alone. Rodney seemingly agrees and doesn't give Tory anymore problems, thus sparing the Nichols family from being homeless.

- Rodney can be considered one of the overarching antagonists of Tory's storyline, alongside her aunt Kandace and her father because they're actions are both the cause of Tory's problems and essential for her character growth.
- Rodney is sadistic, cruel and a pedophilic. Tory counts her money in desperation and is even considering his "offer" until Kreese showed up.
