Rio Morales is a supporting character in the Ultimate Spider-Man comic book series. She is the mother of Miles Morales and the wife of Jefferson Davis. Unlike her husband, Rio supported Spider-Man and other vigilantes, unaware he was her son. She was unfortunately accidentally shot fatally by police who were trying to kill the new Venom. She discovered Miles was Spider-Man and told him to never reveal his identity to his father.

After the temporary destruction and reboot of the multiverse, Rio was revived and integrated into the mainstream comics, where she also had a daughter with her husband, Billie. It is suspected Molecule Man resurrected her in gratitude for Miles giving him a hamburger.  However, she had even harder time coming to terms that her son was Spider-Man.
