Reign is the split personality of Samantha Arias and the main antagonist of Season 3 of Supergirl . She is a world killer who was created by the Kryptonian sorceress Serena and sent to Earth, where Reign was adopted by a human woman. She is worshipped by a Kryptonian cult as its devil. She is portrayed by Odette Annable.

Both are Kryptonians created via genetic engineering, are sent to Earth when Krypton is destroyed at the same time the hero leaves (Clark and Kara) and is destined to destroy the young hero once and for all. They both grow up under human identities.
