“His name is Jason Todd. A lot of people say he's crazy. Like, say the entire staff of Arkham Asylum. Maybe they're right. I'm hardly in a position to judge. Anyone. But as he pops out of his disguise--blows my chain off my ball--and gives me my bow and quiver? Let's just say Red Hood is my kind of crazy!”
―Arsenal about his best friend Red Hood
Jason Peter Todd is a fictional anti-hero and a major protagonist of the Batman franchise published by American Comics company DC Comics. He is one of the adopted children of billionaire and philanthropist Bruce Wayne, with three adoptive siblings, his adoptive siblings Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne and, in some cases, Cassandra Cain. He was the son of drug addict Catherine Todd and thief Willis Todd and the grandson of Gotham City criminal mastermind Faye "Ma" Gunn.
Jason succeeded Dick Grayson as Robin, Batman's partner after catching him trying to steal the Batmobile. After being killed by the Joker and being resurrected through the Lazarus Pit by Ra's al Ghul, Jason later took on the Red Hood alias. Initially a violent and vengeful vigilante, he soon became a more honorable, yet vitriolic and aggressive anti-hero. He has also gained romantic attractions from Rose Wilson, Artemis and Barbara Gordon and he has been close friends with Starfire and Arsenal (Roy Harper).
Jason is introduced in the series as the second Robin, where he is portrayed by Curran Walters. However, in Season 3, his fate is the same as it is in the comics, where he returns as the Red Hood after being resurrected by Jonathan Crane instead of Ra's al Ghul.
