Kara Zor-El, also known as the Red Daughter, is a major antagonist in the Arrowverse franchise, appearing in the 2015 CW/DCTV series Supergirl. She is a clone of Kara Danvers who was created after Supergirl was exposed to black kryptonite during her fight with Reign when she separated her from Sam Arias. Fleeing to Kasnia, the Red Daughter was manipulated by Lex Luthor to his side and kill Supergirl once and for all. However, after learning Lex's true nature, Red Daughter later died protecting Kara from a Kryptonite blast meant for her. She was later absorbed into Supergirl. The Red Daughter is based on Superman's counterpart from Superman: The Red Son comics and Linda Lee from the Supergirl comics.
